Dear Karen and boys,

I just want to send our love--big love--to you. Mark and I share in your sorrow. We were/are so very saddened to hear of Sean's unexpected death. He was a sweet, good man and I know he loved you all so much.

We are sending a check, for a little baseball stuff for the guys or whatever it may be handy for.

Love and a big hug,

Annie

To Shawns wonderful family in this very said time.

I worked with Shawn for almost 4 yrs and had the most respect for him always. I was so in shock by his passing. If he ever needed anything I would alwasy be there to help him out. If I ever needed his knowlege or help with anything he would go over and above to help me : )he is and will always be very missed by many who loved him. He will be unreplacible in the VW world .
Karen, I did not ever have the honor of meeting you and his children. When he spoke of you all it was always with such a smile. My heart breaks for you and your childern. He will watch over his family from heaven that I know.

My very best to you all.....

Sherry

Sean was an incredible man who opened his heart in an incredibly unselfish way to my son, and I'm sure many others. I regret I didn't get the chance to thank him for his kindness. My thoughts are always with you. And Karen, Thank you.

Karen & family:
I'm sorry for your loss, even though I didn't get to meet Sean, his death was a shock to me, and it only reminded me how fragil life is. There's nothing I, or anybody can say to you that will make you feel your pain any less, but know this:
we will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Sean was a good man, husband, father, and son-in-law, and I will miss him greatly.

Sean and I came from different backgrounds, and were joined as family when our daughter Karen fell in love with him. I was pleased to watch him grow from relatively green young suitor, to new father, to responsible adult spouse, parent and breadwinner. It was gratifying to see his experience broaden, his tastes become more sophisticated, his confidence grow, and ultimately to watch him achieve a position of responsibility, mentoring others in the nuances of his profession.

At the same time he immersed himself and enriched his family in boating, fishing and baseball. Sean always volunteeded when there was something to be done. In his understated style, he helped us through numerous household moves, cluthch replacements, head gaskets, and other trials.

Although his life was cut short, we will celebrate the rich times we had with him, and carry on as I know he would have wished.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have worked with Sean for 3 short years and we had a lot of fun at work. It was always fun to hear the boy's baseball stories being a baseball player myself. I enjoyed watching the games too. He will be greatly missed by everyone. My sincere sympathies,
Jim (Jimbo)

It is with great sorrow that I write this message.
I first want to say to the children of Sean that your father was a very hard working man who represented his family with honor and integrity. My conversations with him about you guys was about your successes and how proud he was of you. When he spoke about you, he "always" had love and adoration in his eyes. his involvement with your sports activities was a passion that he loved. As I read these other messages I too can say he was an "unbelievable Father".
As his boss I will tell you that his work ethics and knowledge were the very best I have had the honor to work with,he was dedicated to being the "BEST". He was known in the VW world as the go to guy. If I needed anything fixed I knew I could ask Sean and it would get done. As a ping pong player he was good, but just couldn"t quite put me away(LOL).
As for you Karen my conversations with him about his Family were always happy, and I know from experience that comes from having a good partner that is loved.
I'm going to miss Sean, his smile and our talks, but I will never ever forget him. He has left an everlasting impression with me forever.
May God watch over his family as I know he is watching over Sean.
God Bless

I am so honored to have known Sean Lovitt. He always gave so unselfishly to everyone from working on the fields for baseball to helping my brother move. He was so patient with the endless thumb wars with Alyssa, trading jokes with Amanda, watching Taylor Swift with Kayla and taking Joey to the boat and everywhere with Alex. And who could forget the camping trips, who knew Sean was such a great dancer!

Mike misses you and your daily phone calls to check in and share the latest joke. You were better than a brother to him.

Karen, Sean, Travis, Alex and Michaela know that we consider you our family and will be here for you always.

Michelle

I don't think I've ever met Sean but I can tell by what friends and family say he must have been a good person, because Kayla is amazing. She must have had great dad to end up the way she is. He should be very proud of you Kayla. I know he will be watching over you and your family from heaven.

Love, Emma
